Code of Conduct

Midwest Open Source Alliance is committed to providing a welcoming, safe, and inclusive environment for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion, or nationality.

MOSA adopts the Drupal Community Code of Conduct for all community interactions, events, and spaces associated with MOSA or its sponsored communities.

We encourage all community members to read the full Drupal Community Code of Conduct at: https://www.drupal.org/dcoc

This Code of Conduct applies to:

  • MOSA board meetings (in-person and virtual)
  • Events fiscally sponsored by MOSA
  • MOSA online spaces (GitHub, mailing lists, etc.)
  • Any other context where you are representing MOSA or its sponsored communities

If you experience or witness a Code of Conduct violation at a MOSA event or in a MOSA space, please report it through one of the following channels:

  1. Directly to a board member at the event
  2. Via GitHub — open a private issue on our repository
  3. Via email — (reporting email coming soon)

For violations at specific sponsored events, please also use that event’s reporting mechanism.

Reports will be reviewed by the MOSA board. Consequences for violations may include:

  • A warning
  • Removal from the event or space
  • A ban from future MOSA events or spaces

MOSA is committed to handling all reports with discretion and care for everyone involved.
